At Ebro Mad Cats, our aim is to help you enjoy the fishing experience of a lifetime
Whether this is your first visit to the Ebro or you’re an experienced angler, we have a package to suit.
Ebro Mad Cats HQ is based just yards from the river at Riba Roja D’Ebre, with accommodation and exclusive swims on one of the most picturesque and productive sections of the Ebro. We restrict the number of people fishing on our banks so you can be sure of having a section of river all to yourself. Chose either our casita and pool or our static caravan. Either way you will have air-conditioning, U.K. tv and self-contained cooking facilities. We will set you up in a stunning location with quality tackle and comfortable accommodation. You can get a meal, a sleep or a shower secure in the knowledge that your swim will be just as you left it when you decide to get back to the action. Check out our Accommodation pages for details
Holidays to suit all Anglers
These are big fish swimming in a hostile environment, so for the angler who has no experience of the Ebro we recommend employing the services of our resident guide ‘Ditch’. You might wish to choose a few hours to get you started, or a fully guided holiday with a day or two spent targeting that fish of a lifetime – we can tailor a holiday to suit your needs. Please check out our Guiding page for more information.
Are you ready for the challenge?
Plenty of big catfish and shoals of carp inhabit this stretch of the river, as well as specimen zander, bass, perch and roach. Carp sizes vary from doubles to over 50lbs, and average around the 25lb mark; these are wild river fish so expect fast takes and a spectacular fight! The catfish exceed 240lb, with specimens over the magical 100lb barrier visiting the bank on a regular basis. Take a look at out our carp and catfish photo galleries. If you are into your fishing and want a new adventure, then this is the place for you. Check out our facebook page for recent activity
